We publish our starting prices because most people would rather know roughly what a job costs before they pick up the phone. The figures below are what we work from in Kirkstall and across Leeds. Access, the age of the installation and the materials chosen all affect the final quotation, which is always confirmed in writing first.

How our pricing works
- Every price is a starting point. The quotation you receive is based on the property, access, the condition of the existing installation and the materials required — and is confirmed in writing before any work starts.
- Prices exclude VAT unless stated. Materials beyond those listed are charged at cost plus a handling margin, itemised on the quotation.
- Kirkstall LS5 and the surrounding LS4, LS6, LS12, LS13 and LS18 postcodes are our core area with no travel charge. Further afield, travel is agreed before we book.
- Testing and certification are included where the work requires it. We do not charge extra for a certificate on notifiable work.
Pricing FAQs
Are these fixed prices?
No — they are the starting points we work from. Every job is quoted in writing after we understand the property, access and the condition of the existing installation, and the quotation is the price you pay.
Do you charge a call-out fee for planned work?
No. Planned work in our core Leeds area is quoted without a separate call-out charge. Emergency attendance includes the first hour in the call-out price.
Is VAT included?
Prices are shown excluding VAT unless stated on the quotation.
Do you offer free quotes?
Yes. Quotations for planned work are free and no-obligation. Fault finding is charged for time because the diagnosis is the work.
Can I get a price over the phone?
For straightforward jobs — a socket, an EICR, a consumer unit change on a normal-sized house — usually yes. For rewires, outbuilding supplies and commercial work we visit first.
